DLRC's RHYTHM

Primary
Every Friday, we have a section-wise assembly. In Primary, students of Grade 4 led the assembly, sharing interesting facts about nature, displaying their talent and leaving everyone with a thought for the day to mull over. Such opportunities instill confidence in public speaking and performance in young children. Public speaking is more than just a skill; it is the gateway to building confidence and fostering leadership.

The proud alumni of DLRC visited the campus and interacted with students from Grades 9 to 12 on June 27th. The amphitheatre bustled with questions, exclamations, and laughter as students old and new shared their experiences, from taking a gap year to cracking entrance exams. The alumni also participated in sports activities and nailed their current location on the gorgeous world map created by the Art team. While coffee and cake filled everyone’s tummies, happy memories filled everyone’s hearts!

The Grade 11 Environmental Management cohort observed and analysed their surroundings to note down the abiotic-biotic relations in the ecosystem. Connecting real-world experiences, near to far approach and classrooms without walls are integral to the ethos of DLRC.

Grade 7 students rolled up their sleeves to help set up a beautiful pond on the campus farm. From clearing the area and lining the pond to learning about potential native plant placements, this hands-on session taught them the importance of conserving nature and creating habitats for birds, insects, and amphibians. The students are helping the local ecosystem thrive while learning how small efforts can make a big difference.
