Primary

Transition to Grade 2 students have a Language Development programme in which children learn concepts and develop a love for the English language through storytelling. Learning through stories helps in promoting young learners’ social and emotional development, listening skills, and awareness about diverse perspectives and cultures. In their first week, the students learnt classroom norms through the book How Do Dinosaurs Go To School? by Jane Yolen.

Spotlight

The kids are back and the campus is bursting with colour and love once again! We hosted the first Orientation Day on 31st May. The facilitators put up an energetic performance of ‘Gyaan Ki Roshni’. The founders, Meenakshi and Ajay Dalmia, spoke about DLRC’s journey so far and our aspirations for the future. This was followed by class-wise orientation meetings with homerooms. With all the enthusiasm in the air, we’re sure this will be a cracker of a year!

Middle

In an introspective art session, students of Grade 9 and 11 picked up their pencils and brushes to illustrate their aspirations and future selves. From scientists and artists to entrepreneurs and changemakers, their work reflected a powerful mix of imagination and intention. The free-flowing format allowed students to creatively explore their identities and ambitions, reminding us that sometimes, the best way to plan for the future is to draw it first.

High

Grades 5 to 8 went on a short trek on the 30th of May to explore nature and boost their fitness. Surrounded by trees and fresh air, they hiked through scenic trails, spotting birds, learning about local plants and observing rocks. The trek not only promoted physical activity but also helped them connect with the natural world. It was a fun and educational adventure that left everyone refreshed and more aware of the environment.
