Mangesh is a national-level athlete and founder of Soldier Athletic Academy. He coaches state and national players and leads the SPP University team for All India Inter-University Championships. A passionate ultra-runner, Mangesh was the 1st runner-up at the BURJ – Jumping Gorilla Mountain Ultra Running Championship 2024 (100 km) and a two-time finisher of the SRT Ultra Marathon with a best time of 7:23:40.
