Riverside Pune - नदीकाठचे पुणे - Heritage Walk

The October edition of our Heritage Walk will happen along the Mutha River, exploring the importance of the river in the geographic, cultural, and social history of Pune. Pune city is always mentioned as situated on the confluence of Mula and Mutha rivers. However, the 1300 years old continuous settlement of Pune is actually along the southern bank of the Mutha. 

Join us to explore this lesser known past of Pune through anecdotes and stories at various locations along the Mutha river.

When - 28th October, Saturday - 4 to 6 pm

Where - Riverside locations in and around Shanivar Peth and Shivajinagar

Locations to be visited during the walk - Omkareshwar temple and Ghat, Nava Pul, Nene Ghat, Amruteshwar temple, Ghorpade Ghat, and surrounding spots 

Cost - Rs 300 per person (free for children below 12 years of age)
