Ajay Dalmia, Co-Founder of DLRC, is the driving force behind Strategy and Operational aspects of the Centre. In addition he leads DLRC’s Career Counseling Service and is a full-time facilitator. Prior to starting DLRC, he managed Green School (Bali, Indonesia) and had a cross-functional experience in the corporate sector.
Ajay holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (Marketing and Finance) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, and Master of Science (Mechanical Engineering) from the University of Akron, OH, USA. He is also certified as an Energy Manager in Singapore.
Ajay facilitates Accounts, Developmental Studies, History and Math.
Anil Sanap is passionate about chemistry and tries to inculcate his love for chemistry into kids. Anil loves to be in an environment of learning. Even though he has an M.Sc in chemistry and is an IIT JEE guru for chemistry he looks to up his chemistry skills at every opportunity. He has qualified the GATE and SET examinations. Anil carries the experience of teaching Organic Chemistry to post graduates (4 years) and IIT JEE Chemistry coaching (6+ years). Anil is an M.Sc. from Wadia College and has done research projects in pharmacy. At DLRC he facilitates Chemistry for SHS and IIT JEE,NEET Chemistry. He loves spending time in the wonderful lab and on the sustainable DLRC campus.
Anupam Deshpande has a decade of experience in facilitating & training adult, corporate learners. She stumbled upon teaching much younger adults with DLRC and loved every moment of it. She believes that it's good to be an eternal learner but at some time, in that journey, it's our duty to share & pass on that knowledge to the next generation. She is a B.Tech from IIT, Delhi and an MBA from UBS. She started off as a software engineer but has dabbled in sales, digital marketing, e-commerce, research, business process re-engineering and business consulting. She is a die-hard Trekkie, loves a good mystery, enjoys her daily puzzles and is a poet at heart.
Anupam facilitates Business Studies and Thinking Skills.
Chetan Patil is skilled physical fitness and sports. He is pursuing Masters in physical education and is a skilled physical fitness and sports facilitator. He loves playing traditional games and promotes them at DLRC.
Dr Mani Kapoor Salgia is a lifelong learner who is passionate about health, wellness and food. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery from Pune University and a degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound from UMDNJ, New Jersey. She is registered in the field of general Ultrasound, OB-GYN, Breast, Vascular and Cardiac speciality. She had received her Yoga training from the Kaivalyadhaam Yoga Institute and has a scientific approach towards the study of Yoga. She has worked as an alternate medicine consultant at a wellness center in New York, as a sonographer at a diagnostic medical center in New Jersey and as clinical faculty at the Rutgers UMDNJ diagnostic medical sonography program. She presently practices Yoga and Homeopathy out of her private clinic in Baner, Pune.
She has been facilitating yoga for the students of DLRC since the past two years, introducing Yoga philosophy to children and young adults through stories from Indian mythology and from around the world.
Meghna Bandyopadhyay loves people, animals and plants in that order! She is also a die hard football, tennis, badminton and swimming fan; a complete and hopeless movie buff; and thrives on autobiographies, historicals and mysteries (fictional and non-fictional). She loves to interact with kids and introduce them to various wonders of this world. You’ll generally find her discussing something interesting with students, when not facilitating. She’s extremely passionate about Psychology and believes each and everyone should take up Psychology - not just to know about the subject, but more importantly as a skill to understand themselves and others. She's done her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Nagpur University and PG Diploma in School Psychology from Jnana Prabhodhini.

Mona Dalmia, co-Founder of DLRC, is the driving force behind the Creative & Educational aspects of the Centre. In her words “Being an educator has been one of the best parts of my life. I have challenged myself and have constantly dared to dream about doing something more meaningful, relevant and special in the field of education that would significantly improve the quality of student learning".
Mona holds a Masters degree in Education from Boston University, Bachelors degree in Education from Wheelock college, Boston, Bachelors degree in Science from Calcutta University, Steiner Class Teacher Training Certificate from Sacramento, California and Diploma in Child Brain Development from Pennsylvania. She has travelled extensively gaining invaluable teaching experience in USA, India, Indonesia and Singapore. She loves reading poetry and biographies.
Mona facilitates Biology and English.
Namita is highly renowned in the field of HIndi and theatre. She brings a plethora of passion and knowledge to the team. Hindi is more than a language for Namita, it's a living, breathing being whose beauty is missed by most. Her passion is to showcase this beauty in a simple, interesting manner through story-telling, theatre and writing. She has also been helping young minds develop love for the language, for last 25 years, as Hindi instructor and as Hindi Division Head for reputed CBSE and ICSE schools.
Namita has been an anchor on AIR and often indulges in script writing and translation work. At one time, she even trained young women to drive. Besides Hindi, she has a degree in Social Sciences and is the pillar of Hindi at DLRC.
Pavan Iyengar, co-Founder of DLRC, is the driving force behind making the Centre sustainable. He makes science exciting through concepts from “Toys from Trash” learnt with Arvind Gupta at IUCCA in SPPU. He is passionate to link the learnings to life and across the curriculum. His present mission is to facilitate varied learning experiences for the DLRC community including afterschool as well as sustainably share DLRC’s learning to the wider community.
Pavan holds a Masters degree in Physics from Pune University and Bachelors degree in Physics from Fergusson College.He started his teaching career as a visiting lecturer at IBB (Institute of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology) and has taught a course Physics for Biology at the Blended B.Sc. course of IISER Pune,Modern College,Melbourne University & SPPU.He has worked in top research labs in Pune (SPPU,IUCAA,NCRA-TIFR) and Bengaluru (RRI). He was a Project Fellow at IISER Pune, implementing independent research project that looks into the Energy Transfer in Photosynthesis.Trained in Astro Physics & Quantum Field Theory he sees everything as a Physics Interaction.

Priya Shenoy is a competitive exams coach having over 7 years extensive experience in competitive exam coaching for mathematics, science and computers up to grade 8.
She believes in the philosophy - A teacher needs to show children ’HOW to THINK and not WHAT to THINK’. She is passionate about each child’s holistic development to optimize their performance and imbibe the love of learning. ‘Jyot se jyot badhate chalo’ is her motto. A diehard engineer at heart with 12 years of rich software industry experience and loves to work with children. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication Engineering and a Diploma in Electronics. She loves music and is pursuing Hindustani Vocal Music from the age of 16. Her interests also include driving and has won several awards at women’s car rallies.

A self-driven aspiring educator with thorough Academic background and love for children. Only after spending initial years in Biote, Rupal has translated her passion for English language into facilitation and believes that ‘Schooling is the best way to contribute good people to the society’.
She holds a Masters in Biotechnology and has highly effective English language skills. She wishes to blend her influential communication skills and thorough academic knowledge with fun learning activities. She loves painting and writing.

Sarita Ragade is a B Sc in Food Science and Nutrition from SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai, and a Post Graduate degree in Hospital Administration from Medversity by Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad. She has worked for over 10 years in the Retail industry in food, wellness and clothing MNC’s and has extensive experience in product development, franchising, business development, human resource management and corporate training. She gave up a lucrative career in retail to take care of her daughter, and took up consulting and volunteering projects to keep herself mentally and physically active. Sarita has been in a consulting role at different organizations for the past 20 years. She has worked with handloom weavers, kalamkari artisans, women’s self-help and empowerment projects and in education initiatives for underprivileged groups, and has a deep understanding of social issues at grassroot level in rural India. Sarita has been actively volunteering her time at public schools, libraries, YMCA and social and environmental causes, while in the US for over 6 years.
Sarita has been facilitating Sociology for AS and A level since March 2017 at DLRC. She also facilitates Social Sciences for Middle school, and Indian Culture and Heritage and Home Science for Junior High school. She firmly believes that one must never stop learning and all learning helps to enrich your existence on this beautiful planet!
Shivaji Mane has been working under the tutelage of Mr. Arvind Gupta, who is an Indian toy inventor and expert in science and received the civilian award "Padma Shree" on the eve of Republic Day, 2018.
Shivaji is an expert at creating hands-on experiences for all focussing on making toys.
Shruti Shirur joined the corporate world as an Insurance Underwriter, wherein she was a Reinsurance Consultant. She has been with ICICI Prudential, Munich Re and Fujitsu over a period of 8 years.
As she says,“It was a conscious decision to relive her childhood and grow with her children, wherein she realised Learning is a life-long Journey and is so enriching and beautiful”. Shruti was actively volunteering at her daughter’s elementary school, public library, YMCA while being in USA for almost 6 years.
Shruti has been trained under Waldorf Philosophy. She has done her Masters in Commerce from Mumbai University. Last year, she joined DLRC to facilitate Form Drawing for P2 and M1. It was a great learning journey and she looks forward for the year to come.
She loves to travel, be with Nature, listen to music, art, painting, playing with her children and being a part of their fantasy world.
Sudipta Giri tries to instill love for Maths in kids, sometimes in vain. This time he’ll try the same for Physics, and is very anxious about it. He has done his Bachelor’s from IIT Kanpur, and Masters from IISc Bangalore. He has worked in Telecom industry for 15 years, taught in college for 6 years, and runs his private coaching for more than 2 years.
He loves travelling, international politics and history. He used to love football in his younger days, but nowadays taking more interest in yoga.
Mahasweta Chaudhuri believes that one is a large number. If you can help one individual, one child, you will help ten. Because in the circle of that one person, there will be ten others that that one will educate.
She has done her M. Sc. in Zoology and is Double Graduate in Life Science & Computer Science.
With the conviction and firm resolve to empower her young learners, she is here in DLRC to provide the extra support needed.
Kunal Ghodke has an experience of 2 years as a website designer in the IT industry. He is an artist at heart and enjoys making art and craft from paper and trash. Drawing and painting keenly interest him.
He has completed his Bachelors degree in Science with specialisation in computer science from Dr. Bamu university.
Kalpita Kshirsagar has a Masters in Political Science and a Bachelor’s in Education. She takes keen interest in looking at education with a philosophical bent of mind. She has worked in Millennium National school and Sahyadri school KFI. She is currently exploring indigenous roots of education and attempting to build bridges from the wisdom of yesterday to the modernity of today.
She has been a resource person in various teacher training projects and initiatives to enhance the quality of public schooling in partnership with Pune Municipal Corporation and government of Maharashtra.
She is a passionate traveller, interested in backpacking and road trips. She has been on an 2 people motorcycle expedition from Mumbai to Arunachal Pradesh. When she isn't making lesson plans, she is busy making travel plans.
Dr. Sona Sharma is a passionate researcher and enjoys learning new things. With a significant amount of experience in biological research, she has worked in a biotech industry for more than 2 years. She has also worked as a lecturer in Biochemistry department of Nagpur University and Hislop college, Nagpur.
She has a Doctorate in Biotechnology from Agharkar Research Institute (University of Pune) and has done her Masters in Biochemistry from Nagpur University.
She believes that Biology is an essential subject to learn and tries to pass on her passion for biology to all. Teaching sciences through experiments and experiences, she encourages practical learning over theoretical knowledge. Her jovial nature surely tones down the seriousness of the sciences and makes learning joyful of facilitators and children alike.
Sona loves music and travel. She enjoys relaxing with her family and is a foodie.
Dr. Seemantini Pathare, easily the oldest person on campus assigned with the responsibility of the youngest members of the team, Seemantini is an ex Doctor and farmer. There is only one passion in her life and that is pursuit of happiness. She pursued her primary career of Gynaecology (MRCOG ,UK), for 17 yrs, switched to full time agriculture at the peak of her career and 10 yrs later felt she was now ready to share her passions and unconventional lifestyle, all the while learning new skills .
She trained herself to become a teacher through iTeach teacher training program. Honed her skills at practical class management through volunteering at a learning centre run by TFI for 2 years and then found her destination in DLRC.
She is happy to be the medic on campus and drive agricultural activity at our farm based school.
Kanak Upadhyay is warm and caring teacher who wants all children to be successful learners. She thoroughly enjoys working with children and encourages them.
She is Cube mentor and teaches to solve Rubix cube.
